Level 23 Game Master
I grew up with all things fantasy and sci-fi, and D&D was one of my first real passions. It became my creative outlet, allowing me to explore storytelling, using my voice to add personality and uniqueness to my characters and NPCs, and enabled me to develop other skills as a kid that I continue to hone and use in everyday life as an adult. As I got older I found out like a great many others that life isn’t nearly as exciting as what exists in our imaginations, but much like D&D it can be extremely complicated. I found myself adrift after I got out of the Air Force, and drift I did for a bit until I found my bearings again and got back on track, only to be knocked right off soon after.
At 33 years old, I was diagnosed with cancer, and 6 months later thinking I was free of it I discovered not only was I wrong, but I was now at stage II. Fast forward through radiation and operations, now I find myself cancer free for one year and my entire mindset and outlook on life has changed. I want my life to be as exciting and rewarding as I can dream up in my imagination, and I believe a big part of that will be translating my passion for D&D and the geek genres into content I can share with others to enjoy, educate, and maybe even inspire.
